Making Money Online is the Dream of Many today! But “How” do you make it happen? That is the Big Question.
So many Guru’s make “Making Money Online” seem so easy. It isn’t hard, but
it isn’t easy. It isn’t an overnight stream of money.
A Home Based Business or an Internet Marketing Business takes a Step-By-Step Approach, lots of Massive Action, and Persistency.
Most people give up way too quickly. They want instant success and aren’t
willing to put in the time to learn and develop their business. Remember
to have a Business, we must treat it as a Business.
Many of the Steps to Success I too have balked at, avoided, and procrastinated on. But eventually you come to the rude facts that if you want Success (Making Money Online), you have to pay the price.
It is Worth it, just hard to see the correct path. Then for most of us, we don’t apply the Self-Discipline it requires.
Here are My Recommendations for Making Money Online to get you started.
1. Do a little Soul Searching, discover your Passion and your Goals. WRITE THEM DOWN. You are searching for your Niche.
2. Develop a Business Plan in Writing. (ouch) that was and is a tough one for me, but so necessary. It can save you tons of time and give you a clear roadmap to your goal of Making Money Online. This will be an invaluable resource on your Journey.
3. Do Your Research!! Find some Mentors. Read, Study, and sharpen your Skills. This can help you avoid many pitfalls and help you reach your destination so much quicker and safer.
4. How badly do you want to do this? What are you willing to commit to? This is going to take Time, Focus, and Massive Effort.
5. Your Step By Step Method may be different than mine, but it will require Focus, Massive Effort, Consistency, Tenacity, and Passion.

I have made some decent money using my three main blogs with Google AdSense. But here is a great method I have been using to make money online. I purchased a digital product from the ClickBank marketplace and reviewed the product. Once I did this, I followed what I read to see if I would get the same results the writer did. I did a short video teaching others what I learned and then made a recommendation to purchase the product at the end of the video. Of course, I only created a video for the products that actually worked for me. Since these products did work for me, by watching and following the video, you will also benefit by seeing a dramatic increase in conversions. Then I recommended this product through my own affiliate link. This way I could earn commissions on what others sold. The best way I found to do this was to purchase a meaningful and memorable domain name and redirect the domain to my affiliate link. Then overlay that link in the video. I usually post my videos on my blogs and send it to my mailing lists to make money. But if you don’t have a list, then upload it to YouTube and everal other video sharing sites to make you commissions. It’s a great technique that’s worked for me. The business plan not only gives us a track to follow,in the USA, the

I agree wholeheartedly with your statement – “it will require Focus, Massive Effort, Consistency, Tenacity, and Passion.” Too many people get caught up in the get rich quick schemes and want it right now instead of putting effort into growing their business and they fail. Great article Kathy. The only thing I would add would to be flexible in your business plan. The internet is such a dynamic environment, you really need to have the ability to amend your plan as technology, tools and strategies change.

The points you list are RIGHT On! If people would give a network marketing business the same focus, persistence, dedication, and ambition that they would give to a “nuts and bolts”, offline-business, they would see a much higher degree of success. Without a written plan/goals, HOW will you know the direction to take, that you are on course, and most of all, when will you know you have arrived?!

Thanks Debi, And you are so right. People tend to think and act differently with an offline(brick and mortar) type biz than they
do about their online biz. Both take planning, lots of focused effort and a roadmap is so helpful.
