Are you Overwhelmed? Need a Tip to help Organize?
A Tip to help you to Organize.
Don’t know if you receive as many emails as I do, but I know it can be daunting. I sign up or
subscribe to many newsletters, blogs, forums, etc., for various reasons. Some I am just
interested in their topic and want to learn from them. Most are just part of my research and social networking. Some are just plain spam and junk.
What do we do with all this mail? Organize!
First there are many email delivery systems, you may get yours through Gmail, or Yahoo, or maybe a personal email through your own domain name. I like Gmail and have Several !!! email accounts set up via Gmail. Also have one AOL, and some personal ones thru my domain names.
Each account has ways to store emails so you can read them later. Some let you organize by setting up folders and some call these folders labels. Whatever you call them, I would start to set up some files where you can Organize and retrieve these valuable messages.
Yes, you asked for them, there must have been a reason you subscribed. Maybe you don’t have time to read every one that comes in, but you might need them later, if you could find them. That is why it is so important to Organize.
One thing I do is have most of my active email accounts funneled thru Outlook. Now I only have to check one place to see all my critical information. This is a huge timesaver.
Some suggestions on folders……
Affiliate Programs
Newsletters
Social Media
Banking
Friends and Family
Each of the folders can have sub-folders to further help you Organize.
If using Outlook, be careful not to set up too many folders and keep them cleaned out of obsolete or very old things. Be sure to empty your Deleted File and your Junk Files. Outlook will hold a lot of information for you, but there is a limit.
If you have a Blog on a certain topic, you might set up a folder for that topic. Then when something comes in about that general topic, store in that folder for future reference. This can really help you a lot when you are scratching your head for something to write about. Just reading an article can start your creative juices flowing.
I hope this helps you to better Organize and make life online much easier. If you want more information about this or need help, please email me at:

Happy Organizing,

PS: Don’t forget, start now….. organize

Hi Chuck, thanks for stopping by. You are so right about getting distracted. We must be organized and selective in what we spend our time on.
