I hope you have found a few things to help you get started building YOUR List.  Let me know what YOU are using for listbuilding, do you have a secret weapon?

Without Your Own Personal List, your Internet Marketing efforts will be a struggle, always looking for someone to talk to about your product or service.

If you just market an affiliate link or sell something without capturing the Name, Email address, and maybe the phone number or Skype number, what do you have?  You might make a single sale or commission, but then you have to go find another person to sell to.

What if your Listbuilding produced a list of 10,000 friendly people, who knew you and trusted you?

What if you had a list of people that were looking for what you have or what you know; a list of people you could actually help.  Wouldn’t a list that make your Marketing Efforts so much easier.

Tip:  When you place an ad, such as, in a Safelist, Traffic Exchange, or an Advertising Site.………  Don’t just put your link out there!

Use a Lead Capture Page with a webform from your Autoresponder, such as Aweber. Now you are Listbuilding!  You can offer an incentive for them to fill out the form or subscribe, such as offer a Free Report or an Free Ebook.

OK OK OK,  Now that you have a LIST!   What do you do with it?  This is where the fun begins.

With an Autoresponder, you can FOLLOWUP, FOLLOWUP, FOLLOWUP. You can build your relationship with the people on your list by offering great content, articles, tips and advice.  You can also offer them free gifts from time to time, things that will be of value to them.  Of course, that is why it is so important in listbuilding to build a Targeted List.  Then you can offer what they want and need.  You want to become a valuable resource to them.

Now whenever, you develop a new product or discover something you are excited about, you can offer and promote it to your Huge, Responsive, and Targeted List. Send your offer out in a Broadcast to your list of 10,000 Targeted potential customers and now you can see how your efforts will be richly rewarded.

    Nice post, I have learned that Safe Lists and Traffic Exchanges can produce TRAFFIC and help build a list. The negative side of things is it will hurt you in the long run. I have been studying safe lists and traffic exchanges for a bit. Some people have found them to be very successful, but the true fact of the matter is if you are BRANDING YOURSELF as a leader, you won’t need a Safelist or a Traffic Exchange. People will be attracted to you because of the great content you produce, the relationships you build on Social Media, and also the VALUE you add to people’s lives! Food for thought…

      Hello Allen, Thanks for the comments. I do agree with you about the branding of yourself, That is so important.
      However, I disagree that safelists will hurt you in the long run. If done proplerly, it is a great way to advertise and
      build your list. I use Lead Capture Pages with my Safelists. Kathy

    Great advice Kathy about only using Splash Pages (personally Created)in Safelist and TE advertising.

    Those Page will point prospects to YOUR Branded Home.
    Preferably a well maintained BLOG.
